Posted: 11:16 AM- FARMINGTON -- Davis County prosecutors have charged a 15-year-old boy with a felony in that nude cell phone photos case.
    The boy was charged today with one felony count of dealing material harmful to a minor, and three misdemeanor lewdness counts.
    The charges come in the wake of a growing trend among Utah teenagers who trade nude photos of themselves over cell phones. Revelations about that trend has alarmed prosecutors, parents, school officials and lawmakers alike.
    In the Davis County case, prosecutors have investigated whether some teens allegedly used nude photos taken surreptitiously to threaten one underage girl.
    Nude photo trading reportedly has gone on at several Davis County junior highs and three high schools. The number of teenagers involved has jumped to nearly 30.
    Davis County teens have told prosecutors the photo trading is fueled by competition among students vying for attention from the opposite sex.
